Passing the Award Act Amendment

Schedule 1: Append the following text to the Medal and Award Act:

A military award is hereby defined as an acknowledgement of an Icenian citizens actions during a military conflict given out by the Secretary of Defense.

• Must be announced to citizens after being given out, although this may be delayed in case of the award being given out for military operations still ongoing or ones that need to remain in secret.

• Only one military award of each type may be given to a single person.

The following awards may be given out:

Medal of honour:

• Given out for the accomplishment of pearling an enemy combatant.
• All medals of honour given prior to this act are grandfathered in and do not need to be won again.

Hero of the Republic:

• The highest distinction an Icenian can receive.
• Reserved for the greatest military accomplishments, defined at the discretion of the Secretary of Defense.
